An amusing little flyer I did as part of a volunteer position I held a few years ago. My target audience was college-aged students who may not necessarily understand what indexing was (the process of digitizing information from old records for use with online genealogical research) or why it was important, so I thought it might be fun to make a superhero reference. I tried to mimic the look and feel of an old document with the type and color choice, but a little more saturated, because I'm a sucker for color. Looking back though, I wish I would have found a scheme to match the boxes in the center, and then hue-shifted the texture at the top to match. It doesn't feel quite as cohesive as I would have liked.
